Coronavirus Tips You Can Depend On
Due to the spread of Coronavirus in Chicago, it’s not surprising that people are becoming increasingly concerned about what’s happening day-to-day. Fortunately, everyone can help limit the spread of coronavirus by staying informed and following established tips for remaining protected. These tips are courtesy of the CDC and the World Health Organization (WHO), and they include:
- Wash often: Washing your hands and body with soap and water is the easiest way for you to ensure you remain protected. Be sure to follow the CDC recommendation of a minimum of 20 seconds at a time. We recommend doubling that if you’ve recently been out in public.
- Sanitizer is critical: Washing isn’t always possible especially when out of the home. As such, make use of hand sanitizer to fill the gap. Just be sure the sanitizer is at least 60% alcohol to help prevent coronavirus.
- Practice self-isolation: Self-isolation isn’t fun, but it’s become necessary in Chicago. Stay home as much as possible. If you do go out, maintain a minimum of six feet of space between you and the next person. This has become a must-do for Chicago residents.
- Clean your home: A dirty home won’t do you any favors no matter how much you wash your hands. As such, be sure to sanitize and disinfect the home as needed. For the best protection be sure to follow the sanitization protocol established by the World Health Organization.
